Sanctity of Marriage

Beyond the walls of conditioning,
Of lust and the sanctity of marriage,
Begins a man’s quest for more,
At this depth he could swim,
When all along he longed to drown,
The pairing of opposites consoled him,
Consumed his restlessness,
Fooled him for a while,
Incomplete, he had set out,
Fragmented, he returned,
Oneness, he found was elusive as the Golden bird,
Perched on the swing in a cage, within reach,
Yet that bird belonged to nobody...
