Book Review: The Stopover

The Stopover
Deepa and Ram have created music with ‘The Stopover’. It’s  a beautiful concept of bringing stories to life by making the reader walk along as the protagonist explores uncharted territories. The pages beg you to be at leisure and absorb the impact of what’s happening in the story. Tranquility peeps through vivid pictures painted by words and enhanced by the eye behind by the lens. Of the four stories, ‘The Tibetan Wheel of Wisdom’ is by far the most enchanting as the pictures bring you face to face with the mystique of Leh. There’s religion, rituals and a different way of living in a challenging terrain. These rich glimpses into the life of the people we know very little of are stirring.
The authors do great justice to this new concept of Photo-Fiction and I am confident that the readers will find ‘The Stopover’ not only an entertaining read but very satisfying at a deeper level. This book has heart and you’ll experience it as you turn the pages. I wouldn’t want to spill the beans by disclosing more about this intriguing concept; it needs to be touched, felt and read. The Stopover also has a fan following of over 55,000 on Facebook even before its release. Glance through (http://www.facebook.com/TheStopoverBook)
