A Dream Breaks, Celebrate

 A dream breaks, celebrate,
A wish goes unfulfilled, shrug it away.
The peepal leaf that was fresh until yesterday, has withered, paled,
What is left of the leaf, a dream, a wish?
Nothing, except an impression that it was here,
Cling to an impression too long and you’ll see, when the impression melts,
You too will dissipate like a dream, fold like a wilted leaf and crumble,
Unless, it’s set free like a bird, its cage is yours.
