If My Fate is Dirt

If my fate is dirt, to be buried deep in earth,
Then don’t I already have what I need?
My birth I did not know, but death is a certainty,
Should I be driven like a crazed man chasing flies, dreams?
If my fate is dirt, to be buried deep in earth,
Should I not at least find out, who’s it that’s going to lie in my grave?

I liked the poem but I have a suggestion- how about writing one about a fate that is twinkling away with the stars ? Being buried in dirt is sooooo depressing ( especially for someone as talented as you)

Hey Meera, your comment made me laugh out loud :) I'll surely write about a star strewn fate. I didn't intend the poem to be depressing. The poem rose from a meditative state and I had to put it down. Thank you so much for your feedback. Appreciate it!
