In the dark abyss of stillness,
Your breath is the only sound I hear, slow and sensuous,
light and sonorous,
At this depth, there’s no greed, no want to drink it all, but
an urgent need to drown,
Each drop is potent, as it wets the lips,
A rare smile of contentment arises, like a newborn sun from behind
the clouds,
In this selfish darkness there’s no other being,
Only I and the one whose breath I breathe.![]() |
