The ripe grass in the sunlight is golden,
And in the shade a dark green,
One sizzles with life, the other quietly asleep.
From where I see,
The boundary is broken,
The two halves of the park remind me of the mind,
Brimming at once with both darkness and light,
I say, there’s no melancholy, no reminiscing of the past,
Today, there’s only love, abundant and vast,
Laughing in the fallen leaves and the flutter of butterfly wings,
Peeping through the big toenail, the kissable, luscious lips,
From the golden light to the grass,
From my faraway eyes to the park,
From my crazy love for your toenail,
To the simplest of things,
Life is connected to every other life in loving darkness and light.
And in the shade a dark green,
One sizzles with life, the other quietly asleep.
From where I see,
The boundary is broken,
The two halves of the park remind me of the mind,
Brimming at once with both darkness and light,
I say, there’s no melancholy, no reminiscing of the past,
Today, there’s only love, abundant and vast,
Laughing in the fallen leaves and the flutter of butterfly wings,
Peeping through the big toenail, the kissable, luscious lips,
From the golden light to the grass,
From my faraway eyes to the park,
From my crazy love for your toenail,
To the simplest of things,
Life is connected to every other life in loving darkness and light.
