Different beliefs give birth to different gods,
Some are clothed; some couldn't be bothered with clothes.
There are those who cannot be seen or touched,
And there are those who can be held and felt and fed,
Felt in ways that even the one true God stands speechless.
Often, between the believer and his object of reverence is
an invisible, divisible chasm,
That he can’t row across,
Between man and the animal god, there’s nothing but
uninhibited love,
An infinite ocean of playfulness crashing against the rocky beaches
of our hearts,
Relentlessly,
endlessly, shamelessly…![]() |
