He Surely Knows

The half sari that covers my limbs,
Has tiny, mango shaped, butis sewn on it,
Delicate fingers have labored long,
To infuse in the intricate pattern, my beautiful lord,
His eyes, intoxicating globes of wine, are indulgent,
As my shy gaze turns away from His resplendent, radiant, attractive form,
That my love is tainted, He surely knows,
Like the summer storm that rages and rains,
Only to quieten into the smell of fresh earth,
As the first rain hits the heated tarmac,
That earthy, unchaste, scent, is my essence,
He surely knows…and loves.
